Long Island Tourette Association Support Groups
Support groups are held by the Long Island Tourette Association. The meetings are held the first Friday of the month (except where noted otherwise), from September through June at the DeMatteis Center of St. Francis Hospital in Greenvale. Three simultaneously run groups, in separate rooms, service parents, children and teens. The meetings provide a caring, supportive and advice filled environment that comfort and reassure newly diagnosed families, as well as continued support for veteran families facing new crises.

All sessions begin at 7:30 p.m. at the DeMatteis Center in Old Brookville. There are three separate support groups running simultaneously: for children, teens and parents/adult.
Siblings of TS kids are invited. The Youth Ambassador (peer education) training program participants will also meet. Teen Buddies will be available to the children.
The DeMatteis Center is located on the north side of Northern Boulevard in Old Brookville, directly opposite the New York Institute of Technology campus. To get there from the Long Island Expressway (495), take Exit 39N (Glen Cove Road). Follow Glen Cove Road north to Northern Boulevard (Rte. 25A). Make a right and proceed east, about one mile to second traffic light. Make a left into the Center's parking lot. The Center is approximately one mile east of Glen Cove Road and one mile west of Route 107.

Young Women's Mentoring Group
The Women with TS Mentoring Program meets quarterly on Monday evenings from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm in the Conference Room at 1615 Northern Blvd, Suite 306, Manhasset, NY 11030 Due to space considerations, there is a limit of no more than 12 women per group. RSVP well in advance are a must. Please contact Dr. Budman or Dr. Zwilling for further information.
